Today would have been my father’s 68th birthday. Today is the 60th wedding anniversary of Samuel’s maternal grandparents. I find it hard to be sad when I think of the grandparents celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Sitting here typing out this post I can think of a dozen things they do on a regular basis that brings [...] Every year I think about how much fiber I will spin during the Tour de Fleece. Somehow, that never seems to happen. I excel at procrastination. Last week I learned how to spin long draw so my Tour de Fleece goal is simply to spin only using long draw. For me, this is about refining and [...] Lately I have been focused on sewing and have great fun sewing clutches and whatnot. My attempts at a sundress have been utterly horrible. Shirred fabric and F-cup boobs just do not go together. Oh well, I had fun learning how to shirr and I can think of all sorts of little girl dresses to make.
