Last summer I purchased a copy of a pattern called “Infinity Peacock Moebius Wrap” from my friend Anne. My intention was to make it for a relative but that never happened. I’m being selfish and knitting this for me at the moment. I figure the first one will be my learning version and subsequent ones will be absolutely perfect and suitable for gifting…if I can part with them!
I love moebius patterns but I hate to cast on for them. I have tension issues when casting on but I’m sure with practice, those issues will resolve themselves. It did take me several times to get this cast on, but once I did, the hard part was over.
The pattern is simple and easy to memorize. Even though there are 432 stitches in each row, this does knit fairly quickly. Overall, I’m happy with this well-written, easy to understand pattern. Anne’s blog is a great source of information for knitting the Infinity Peacock Moebius Wrap
NOTE: Until February 28, 2010, Anne will be donating $2 of each pattern sale to Save The Children for relief efforts in Haiti.

You, my dear, are a SAINT!!! I’m thrilled you blogged my pattern. ♥ Also, just a plug for Haiti- I’m donating $2 of each sale until Feb 28th to Save The Children. I made an extra large with 48 MCO (I thought it would be a large, but I’m learning!) It’s on the blog if anyone wants to see the wollmeise version. I reveal all, as it will help someone! HUGS to you E. Can’t wait to see your finished moebius. . .
I will try to get some in-progress pictures taken tonight. This is such a fun pattern to knit!
