I like the moss stitch idea! It is a small enough project that experimental knitting wouldn't be an overwhelming waste of time or effort. I can always frog it if necessary.

I thought I was the only garter-stitch hater! I wonder if the BSJ would work in moss stitch?

I say this every year but this year I really need to focus on my various textile projects. I felt so bad about giving out gift cards during the holidays instead of the lovely hand-crafted items I had envisioned. This year WILL to be different!

Has 'Parkle decided everything you knit should be for her? :)

Hope everyone in your home is doing well and keeping warm and toasty!

The colors are totally out of my comfort zone and I was hesitant at first about using it for socks. I know it is just a trick of my mind, but my feet just feel warmer these socks on because of their beautiful, warm color. It works so I'm not complaining!

The 9-inch circulars are a US Size 3 and while I can knit with them I do not want to use them on a regular basis. For me, Magic Loop is the easiest/fastest way to knit socks followed by the DPNs. The one thing I did learn with tiny needles was to appreciate just how much more comfortable "large" needles are!
